What a birdcage scaffold covers
A birdcage is a free-standing scaffold with a full working deck, giving safe access across an entire ceiling or high internal area. We build birdcages for halls, atriums, churches, stairwells, retail units and other large open spaces.
The full platform means trades can move freely and work across the whole area at once, rather than repeatedly repositioning a tower.
Who it's for
We work for decorators and plasterers, mechanical and electrical contractors, ceiling and lighting installers, and heritage and commercial fit-out projects.
Typical uses include ceiling repairs and painting, services installation, and the restoration of ornate or high ceilings.
Level, stable and compliant
A birdcage needs to be level, properly boarded and stable across its whole footprint, with loadings planned for the work and materials it will carry.
We build to TG20 and SG4 guidance with CISRS-qualified, directly employed operatives, and provide bespoke design for larger or higher spans.
