What gantry scaffolding covers
A gantry creates a protected route beneath a scaffold or works area, so people can pass safely below. We provide pedestrian gantries, protection fans and covered walkways over footpaths and entrances.
These are common where work is carried out above a pavement, shopfront or busy access route.
Who it's for
Gantries suit town-centre and commercial works, public buildings and busy frontages, anywhere the public needs to pass safely beneath the work.
They help businesses keep trading and pedestrians keep moving while the work goes on overhead.
Public protection and compliance
Gantries carry their own loading and stability considerations, and work over a public highway usually needs a council licence. We plan loadings, signage and licences, and provide bespoke design where required.
All scaffolds are built to TG20 and SG4 guidance by CISRS-qualified, directly employed operatives.
